I'm so ring-fenced by my middle-class upbringing but dressing up as the opposite sex is probably quite liberating. I love the movie Priscilla Queen of the Desert, for example.

@bun: strangely enough, I've never wanted to dress as a man. But I love campy women with big personalities: think Maria Callas, Shirley Bassey, etc and as a child that used to be my drag of choice. Makes you wonder...
