And while we're on the subject of dance...

Here's Sylvie Guillem in William Forsythe's 'In the middle, somewhat elevated", one of my favourite ballets. Those breath-taking extensions, the arch of her foot, the emphasis in her movement, everything reminds me of why I love ballet so much.

    Matthew Bourne's Nutcracker is on, and Sylvie Guillem is coming to London with Push by Russell Oliphant at the London Coliseum. Lucky you.

    I might try to catch the performances in the Hague and Brussels if I can find a babysitter.
