How did they taste?? Never seen something like that before!
@Milo: yes, delicious with a white cream sauce. Their taste has been likened to oysters, I think of them as winter asparagus. Trip to the UK is booked by the way. Will be there from 23-27 Dec.
They do look a little too stick-like for me.
